
Joe has been involved with volleyball on many levels for the past 15 years. He was a co-founder/co-owner of University Place Volleyball Club and 253 Elite Volleyball Club (along with Michael Miller). At these clubs, he worked with teams at every age level from U12-U18. He coached multiple teams to Junior National tournament appearances, including 2 teams that qualified at the Open level (1 at Lone Star in 18’s and 1 at Far Western in 17’s). He has helped develop players that have gone on to play at every level of NCAA volleyball. Since 2016, Joe has been the assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at St. Martin’s University in Lacey. He is part of the coaching staff that holds the Division 2 single season wins record for the school. In addition, he has coached 3 All-GNAC Conference players and 21 Academic All GNAC Conference players.
Finally, spent this past spring/summer working at the University of Texas summer camps and with the Puget Sound Region High Performance program, At Texas, he worked as a Head Court Coach and with the PSR HP program he worked as an Evaluator and Court Court.
In June, was named as the Head Coach for the PSR Youth Division HP team that represented the region at the USAV HP Championships in Ft. Lauderdale.
Currently resides in University Place.
