U17/18 Tryouts- Saturday, July 15- 4pm & 6:30pm AND Sunday, July 16 at 9am
In the 2020-21 season, DaKine’s U17 Surf team was a powerful force in the region and beyond. In the 2021 Power League, 17 Surf finished #2 out of 22 teams, based on winning percentage. Our u17 Surf earned the National Bid to the 2021 USAV National Championships.
For the 2021-22 Club Season DaKine’s 17 Surf team finished #2 out of 51 teams in the PSR Power League in the U18 Division. The DaKine 17 Surf earned their bid to Nationals at the Salt Lake City Showdown and finished 13th out of 36 teams in the USA Division at the Girls Junior Nationals Championships!
For the 2023 Club Season, we had a second U17 Surf Team, that trained along side our 17 Surf One & 18 Surf teams. TA few season highlights include a 3rd place finish at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in the American Division and 9th in the Emerald Division at the PSR Regional Bid Tournament. These Warriors are off to Nationals July 3-6- Good Luck Ohana!
For the 2024 Club Season, DaKine- for the first time ever, will have a combined 17s/18s National team. This team will compete in the U18s division and wind down in April, following the U18 National Championships.
Dakine’s U17 Surf Travel Team will practice three times a week, and participate in tournaments around the region and across the country. Players will receive a full uniform package. Please review the Age Definitions for 2022-23 Club Season to confirm your athlete is eligible for this team. DaKine National Teams will utilize one of the best video tools for player development and recruiting- HUDL. This statistic data platform can filter by player, game, match or season. Players can create custom highlights to add to their recruiting profiles or share directly with coaches, friends & family.
