About Our 2019 Local Summer Beach Club

Dakine Beach Training is second to none in the NW.  With Elite players coming from as far as Portland and Marysville to train together in Tacoma, DaKine has put together the only beach coaching staff in the NW featuring Current and Former Professional Beach Volleyball players. DaKine has become synonymous with excellence in beach volleyball in the NW and has become a focal point for recruitment for collegiate beach volleyball programs from across the country.

DaKine Beach Volleyball Club has FIFTEEN current members and alumni of our roster who either play or are committed to play collegiate beach volleyball at a NCAA Division 1/2 level!

Our Local Summer team practices out of three locations. Our South location is the DaKine Sports Center in University Place, WA and we also train out of our North Club location that practices at Alki Beach throughout the summer. We are also excited to offer Willis Tucker Park in Snohomish as a new training site to our program!

Read on below to learn more about our Summer Beach Program!

How it Works

All players who attend seeding day will be offered a spot on one of our training squads.

Our Local Beach Team will train in three separate locations throughout the summer based on location. This team will be divided into a beginner, intermediate and advanced group based on ability level. These athletes will train together throughout the summer. We have had MANY Elite beach team players begin with this training option one year and then advance to the Elite Team the following year.

Beach Team Training locations are at DaKine Sports Center, Alki Beach and Willis Tucker Park! Practices are two times per week starting in June at DaKine Sports Center and in July and August at Alki and at Willis Tucker Park.

Beach Team Practice Schedule

Practices begin June 29th and continue through to August 23rd. Exact times and days will be decided on once we have numbers for each level and location. Scheduling will depend on the size of each training group.
